The protein content in shrimp is low in fat. In 3 ounces of shrimp or about 15-16 large shrimp, it contains 101 calories, 19 grams of protein, but only 1.4 grams of total fat. Protein in shrimp is beneficial for forming body cells. Protein needs of each person is different, depending on gender and age.
